The Art piece
The collector and his shells in 2016, inspired by the serene moment of a man standing alone by the sea, surrounded by nothing but the sound of waves. The man stands at the beach, immersed in his task, with the tranquil water and sky reflecting the peace both around him and within him. Time seems to slow down, and the world begins to feel quieter, softer, and more intentional. I wanted to capture the quiet simplicity of his actions with a thoughtful rhythm. There was something deeply calming in the gentle posture of his body, a quiet confidence that suggested he knew exactly what he was doing, yet his movements seemed to flow effortlessly in harmony with his surroundings, in tune with nature.
The phrase "Be water" has been a guiding mantra throughout my life, and it resonates deeply in this piece. For this first series, I revisited the artwork as a counterpart to the piece The collector and her scarf.

Soundtrack
Common Saints set the mood, Mk.gee added dreamy energy, and Faith Hill brought nostalgia and power. Their sounds shaped the flow, texture, and emotion—fueling the rhythm of the lines.
