The Art piece
The collector and her scarf draws inspiration from the concept of a headscarf that holds a variety of personal items. The idea began when I noticed a charming woman by the southern french coastline, wearing a scarf and rummaging through her bag. I wondered: what if, instead of a handbag, her possessions were seamlessly integrated into her headscarf?
I began sketching different objects, which became more refined over time, focusing on jewelry and gemstones. The wireless earphones, an original element, remain, now placed on her hips. The scarf features a pattern of peonies, symbols of beauty, fortune, and abundance. Like a collector accumulating precious things, each petal contributes to the whole, echoing the personal items in the woman’s scarf.
